The inauguration of the new Residence Hall, located in Rua do Rosário, the construction of which was sponsored by the Porto University Centre, was attended by the Porto academic, civil and military officials. At the end of the event, Port wine was offered at the Porto University Centre. Reference to the speech of its director, Professor Jayme Rios de Sousa, and of the Rector, Professor Amândio Tavares, who praised the activity of this centre in the academic life of Porto.
Inauguração da nova residência estudantil na Rua do Rosário, obra promovida pelo Centro Universitário do Porto, com a presença das autoridades académicas, civis e militares da cidade. No final, foi oferecido um "Porto de Honra" na sede do C.U.P., destacando-se o discurso do seu director, Dr. Jayme Rios de Sousa, e do Reitor, Dr. Amândio Tavares, enaltecendo a obra desse organismo na vida universitária portuense.
