"In the city of Aswan, located on the Nile river in the south of Egypt, two primary schools (one for boys, one for girls) offer pre-vocational training in the early grades. Manual training for boys, domestic science for girls are the standard courses. At the Aswan Community Centre the learning needs of various ages, from pre-school to adult and from supervised play to instruction in typing, are met.
